Kaduna State University Majlis (KASU Majlis) Co-Operative Investment & Credit Society Limited is an association for the everyone, staff and their respective spouses, who wants to invest and benefit from.
Objectives of the Society
The objectives of the society shall be to promote the economic interests of its members and shall particularly include the following:
- The provision of facilities for regular monthly savings by members.
- The creation of funds to be lent to its members at interest free rate necessary for any productive purpose and engagement.
- To purchase retail food items as well as other essential commodities for sale to members and other interested members of staff.
- To go into general trading, investment in shares and securities of companies engaged in Halal business such as setting up of industries, catering services, business centres, farming and any other project that shall benefit the society and its members such as:
- Real Estate Investment
- Sale of Land
- Setting Up of Small/Medium Scale Industries
- Operating of a School
- To strengthen the bond of brotherhood and encourage Co-operative spirit among members in other to curb unnecessary dependence and encourage self-reliance the among Muslim Ummah and the general populace.
