Nominee or Next of Kin

1. Every member shall nominate in writing a person or persons to whom should he/she dies or becomes permanently insane, the amount standing to his/her credit and/or liability be transferred.
2. A member may at anytime change his/her nominee by paying a nominal fee of N100.00. The name of the nominee shall be entered in the Register of members and any alterations shall be signed by the member. If not admitted to membership, the nominee shall in the case of death or permanent insanity of the member be paid the value of the member’s saving investment less any sum due to the society.

The Estate of a deceased member shall be liable for the debts of the society, as they existed on the date of his/her death for a period of two years after his death.
